With a large and diverse travelling population, Walgreens’ Travel Security Team was faced with gaining global awareness and adoption of their evolving Travel Security Program. About Barrie:

Barrie Burren Stetzinger is a manager for Walgreens Asset Protection Solutions on the Global Security team. Barrie’s role includes travel security, corporate aircraft security, business risk intelligence, and process optimization.

Barrie works closely with Walgreens’ 24/7 Security Operations Center to improve procedures used for responding to incidents at more than 8,000 Walgreens locations nationwide.  Additionally, Barrie has developed a segment in the operations centre dedicated to travel security with whom she and her team work closely to monitor and respond to events across the globe.  This team is instrumental in expanding the Walgreens Travel Security program from the US to across the enterprise in more than a dozen countries.

Prior to joining Walgreens, Barrie worked in higher education. 

Barrie earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Communication from Northwestern University.
